...Omojuwa to Lead Grassroots Movement Across Ondo South

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, is set to launch the Ondo South BTO-Youth Alliance for Asiwaju (BYAA), a grassroots mobilisation platform designed to strengthen support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and deepen the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda across the Ondo South Senatorial District.

The initiative, which will be led by former Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Niger Delta and Amnesty Affairs, Comrade Akinfemi Raymond Omojuwa, is expected to mobilise young people and other stakeholders in support of the administration's development agenda while strengthening the grassroots structures of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Announcing the formation of the alliance, Omojuwa described it as a strategic platform aimed at increasing youth participation in politics, promoting inclusive leadership and encouraging active civic engagement across the six local government areas of Ondo South.

According to him, the movement will bring together youths, professionals, artisans, women, market associations and community leaders to support progressive governance and sustainable development.

He commended Tunji-Ojo for what he described as his visionary leadership, commitment to public service and passion for youth empowerment, noting that the minister has become a source of inspiration for many young Nigerians.

"Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo represents the finest ideals of progressive leadership. Through competence, innovation and an unwavering commitment to national development, he has become a rallying point for young people who believe in purposeful governance. The BTO-Youth Alliance for Asiwaju reflects that vision and our determination to strengthen grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda," Omojuwa said.

He explained that the alliance is not solely a political support group but a platform dedicated to leadership development, civic responsibility, community engagement and nation-building.

"Our vision is to build the foremost grassroots youth movement that inspires responsible leadership, national unity and active citizenship. Our mission is to mobilise, educate and organise young people across Ondo South into a disciplined, people-oriented platform dedicated to good governance, party cohesion, youth inclusion and community development, while advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda," he added.

Omojuwa disclosed that membership of the alliance would be open to APC members, non-partisan youths and patriotic citizens from different political backgrounds who are committed to the development of Ondo South and Nigeria.

He described the initiative as an inclusive movement that seeks to unite progressive-minded individuals regardless of previous political affiliations, while nurturing a new generation of responsible and committed leaders.

The Director-General added that the alliance would prioritise party unity, issue-based political participation, youth inclusion and community development, while complementing ongoing efforts to strengthen the APC's grassroots structures throughout Ondo South.

He called on youths, women, students, professionals, artisans, market associations, community leaders and supporters of progressive politics to identify with the movement and participate actively in its forthcoming inauguration.

Omojuwa expressed confidence that the launch of the Ondo South BTO-Youth Alliance for Asiwaju would mark a new phase of grassroots political mobilisation that would reinforce support for President Tinubu, strengthen the APC across the senatorial district and advance the people-centred leadership championed by Tunji-Ojo.
