As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, an aspirant for the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Niran Olanusi, has outlined his vision for Akoko South West Constituency II, promising quality representation, inclusive leadership and sustainable development.

Olanusi, who is seeking to represent the constituency in the state legislature, said his aspiration is driven by a desire to serve the people and address the developmental needs of the area through effective lawmaking and advocacy.

According to him, the constituency requires a representative who understands its history, challenges and opportunities, and is committed to translating the aspirations of the people into meaningful policies and programmes.

He described himself as a bridge between the older and younger generations, noting that while he values the wisdom and experience of elders, he also understands the aspirations and concerns of the youth.

The aspirant stressed the importance of fostering unity across generations, saying such an approach is necessary for the growth and progress of the constituency.

He added that his engagement with residents over the years has given him firsthand knowledge of the issues affecting communities within the constituency and strengthened his commitment to public service.

Olanusi also pledged to maintain an open-door policy if elected, assuring constituents that their views and concerns would always guide his actions and decisions.

According to him, effective representation begins with listening to the people and ensuring that their voices are reflected in government policies and legislative activities.

He further promised to focus on effective legislation, oversight functions and the attraction of constituency projects capable of improving the welfare of residents.

The aspirant maintained that Akoko South West Constituency II deserves active and purposeful representation, expressing confidence that his vision and leadership qualities would position the constituency for greater development.

He therefore called on residents to support his ambition, assuring them of his commitment to promoting unity, inclusiveness and progress across the constituency.
