‎The Ilaje Chieftaincy Committee has congratulated seven indigenes of Ilaje land following their appointment and inauguration as Permanent Secretaries in the Ondo State Civil Service by the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
‎
‎In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the committee, HRM Oba Segun Williams Akinyomi, the Amapetu of Mahin Land, and HRM Oba (Dr.) Obafemi Ogbaro JP, the Odoka of Obe-Ogbaro Dynasty of Ogbaro Land, the traditional leaders described the appointments as a recognition of the appointees’ competence, dedication and years of meritorious service.

‎The newly sworn-in Permanent Secretaries are Mrs. Morayo M. Bayo-Philip, Mr. Tope Lebile, Mr. Stephen R. Aworere, Mrs. Ope Adetoye, Mrs. Oluseyi Odusola, Dr. (Mrs.) Abike Bayo-Ilawole and Mr. Ileri Olusegun Orisabinone.

‎According to the committee, the elevation of the seven Ilaje indigenes to key administrative positions reflects the growing influence and contributions of Ilaje professionals within the Ondo State public service.
‎
‎The committee noted that the appointments have brought pride and honour to the Ilaje Kingdom while also strengthening the community’s representation in the state’s administrative structure.
‎
‎While commending Governor Aiyedatiwa for recognising competent individuals for strategic roles in the civil service, the committee urged the new Permanent Secretaries to justify the confidence reposed in them through integrity, diligence and effective service delivery.
‎
‎“The Ilaje nation is proud of your achievements. Your appointments are not only a testament to your dedication and professionalism, but also a source of inspiration to younger generations from Ilaje land who aspire to serve with distinction,” the statement said.
‎
‎The committee expressed confidence that the new Permanent Secretaries would contribute meaningfully to policy implementation, administrative efficiency and the overall development of Ondo State.
‎
‎It also prayed for wisdom, strength and success for the appointees as they assume their new responsibilities in the service of the state.
‎
‎The Ilaje Chieftaincy Committee reaffirmed its commitment to celebrating excellence among Ilaje sons and daughters while encouraging greater participation of the community in governance and public service.
