‎The Oyenogho of Mahin Land, High Chief Abu Martins Oyenowo Ogungbure, has lauded the governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa for what he described as impactful leadership within one year in office as governor.

‎In a congratulatory message marking the governor’s first anniversary, the traditional ruler said the milestone offers an opportunity to assess the administration’s performance and its impact on the lives of the people.

‎High Chief Ogungbure noted that within a relatively short period, the state government has recorded significant strides in infrastructure development, particularly in the rehabilitation and construction of major road networks.

‎According to him, improved road connectivity has eased transportation challenges, enhanced trade and commerce, and facilitated smoother movement of people and goods across communities.

‎The monarch also commended the administration’s interventions in the health sector, highlighting the upgrading of primary healthcare centres and improved access to essential medical services.

‎He said the renewed attention to healthcare delivery has brought relief to residents, especially those in rural areas who previously faced limited access to quality medical care.

‎On education, Chief Ogungbure praised ongoing renovations of public schools, provision of improved learning facilities, and support initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ academic performance.

‎He described the investments in the education sector as strategic steps toward building a knowledgeable and competitive workforce capable of driving the state’s long-term development.

‎The traditional leader further applauded empowerment programmes targeted at youth and women, as well as initiatives designed to strengthen small and medium-scale enterprises.
